Can I Use Logitech Bluetooth Dongle for Other Devices

can i connect with ane computer with unifying receiver and another with bluetooth and keep switching between the two as needed?

Yep. I have this connected to my desktop with the usb receiver. When needed, I activate the bluetooth on the keyboard (via a keyboard shortcut) in order to pair the keyboard with my ipad. When I'm done using the keyboard with my ipad I merely plow off the bluetooth on the keyboard (by toggling the keyboard power button on/off) and it automatically pairs back up with the desktop.

no you cannot seamlessly switch between Unifying Receiver Manner and Bluetooth mode. After you accept paired the device in bluetooth manner, it remains in bluetooth mode until you turn information technology off. when yous turn it back on again, it is in Unifying Receiver way until you lot pair it again. Absolutely ridiculous design. at that place is no button to switch between Bluetooth and U.R. mode.

I having been trying information technology out too and haven't been successful. After connecting to bluetooth, when I turn off and plow on the keyboard, information technology automatically switches to the unifying receiver. To utilise bluetooth, I have to become through the pairing process once again. Hopefully I am missing something otherwise it seems to be an amazingly dumb move by logitech. They've provided two ways to connect but no easy manner to switch between the two.
Edit: I have a windows ten box with unifying receiver and Nvidia shield with bluetooth keyboard support

Technically yes, but effectively no. Once paired in bluetooth, if you lot ability off and back on, there is a FN+del push button to put it dorsum in bluetooth mode. But with my win10 machine, it just sits there for minutes, then randomly after 2-iii minutes, sometimes it reconnects to my laptop (which it has already been paired with). Otherwise you lot have to go onto the laptop, re-pair it manually, pretty much defeating the whole purpose of a wireless 'living-room' keyboard. Plus, this somehow disables the backlight. Mine'southward going back.

I believe so, that's my plan. I purchased the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 mouse with Unifying+Bluetooth and have it paired with my work laptop (Bluetooth on Ch. ane) and my personal laptop (Unifying Ch. 2) The Logitech Options software helps configuring the device, only also connecting. I had some difficulty getting the mouse paired on Unifying, and the software had me power it off and on, only it's all set now and works slick!

I tried with ii different keyboards and couldn't get them to connect through Bluetooth at all on PCs or Chrome devices. Information technology was disappointing. I had no issues with the unifying receiver.

I didn't try to pair with a computer, but I practice accept it paired with my Nvidia Shield (2017/bluetooth) and showtime generation FireTV(unifying receiver). One is upstairs and the other downstairs. I just turn the keyboard of/onf when I go to apply it with the other device

Bluetooth function (if really present) doesn't work with Mac mini computer. No mode to switch between Bluetooth and Logitech connectivity. Don't get with plan to use with two devices!

no you cannot but i would strongly recommend Microsoft'southward mouse without borders software. it lets you seamlessly switch between multiple active computers and lets you use one keyboard ans mouse for all of them.
